A cleaner bed starts with the mattress
If you wake up with a blocked nose, itchy eyes or a sneezing fit, you know how it sets up your whole day.
Washing your sheets helps, but dust, skin flakes and mite debris build up inside the mattress, where washing never reaches.
MiteLock™ zips all the way round your mattress, so it's fully covered on all six sides under your fitted sheet. It's soft, silent satin, with no plastic crinkle.
For the full routine, pair it with the MiteSafe mattress vacuum, wash bedding weekly at 60°C and keep your bedroom below 50% humidity.

MiteLock™ FAQs
Everything you need to know before you order.
What's it made from?
A smooth satin-finish fabric with a zip that runs all the way round. There's no plastic or vinyl layer, so it doesn't crinkle, and there are no sprays or chemical treatments. Your usual fitted sheet goes on top.
Is it an allergen barrier?
It's a full zip-up cover that encloses your mattress on all six sides. The fabric hasn't been lab-tested for pore size or allergen blocking, so we don't claim it blocks dust mites or their allergens. It keeps your mattress fully covered under your fitted sheet, and it works well alongside regular mattress vacuuming.
Will it feel different to sleep on?
No crinkle. It's smooth satin that stays quiet when you turn over, and your normal fitted sheet goes on top, so your bed feels like your bed.
How do I put it on?
Like a fitted sheet. Unzip it fully, lift one corner of the mattress, pull the encasement over, then zip it all the way round. It takes about two minutes, and it's easier with two people for bigger beds.
How do I choose the right size?
Pick the same size as your bed: Single (90 × 190 cm), Double (135 × 190 cm), King (150 × 200 cm) or Super King (180 × 200 cm). Double, King and Super King fit mattresses up to 30 cm deep; Single fits up to 25 cm.
Does it fit memory foam or hybrid mattresses?
Yes. It fits any mattress type, including memory foam, pocket sprung and hybrid, as long as it's within the depth for your size.
How do I wash and look after it?
Your fitted sheet goes on top and gets washed as normal. When you do want to wash the encasement, follow the care label that comes with it.
Does it protect against bed bugs?
No. It isn't a bed bug product. If you think you have bed bugs, contact a pest control professional.
Is it a medical treatment?
No. It's a mattress cover, not a medical treatment, and we don't make medical promises. If your symptoms are severe, or you have asthma or eczema, speak to your GP or pharmacist.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery is free anywhere in the UK and takes 7 to 12 working days. We'll email you a tracking link as soon as it ships.
Can I return it?
Yes. You can cancel within 14 days of it arriving. Email us with your order number first and we'll send you the return address. Return postage is paid by you unless the item is faulty, damaged or wrong. See our returns policy for the full details.
How do I contact you?
Use our contact page or email support@mitesafe.com and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
